The Purr-Fect Rene Russo Photoshoot! (episode 05) (Collaboration: Gabe Kikas)

Rene and Tony's crew arrive at Malibu Beach Inn early in the morning. Rene, along with me, Shane (Paish) and Kéla (Wong), go to one of the rooms to get Ms Russo ready for the photoshoot.

While Shane & Kéla get Rene's hair and makeup ready, Tony and I go over the day photoshoot with her. Rene, while sipping orange juice, asks the two of us many questions. In the end, all three find common gowns as to how the photoshoot will unfold.

Look 01 of the photoshoot

In the morning, Tony takes photos of Rene out the balcony of her hotel room. She wears a floral off-the-shoulder dress. The early morning breeze is refreshing. As she gazes at the Pacific Ocean, Rene thinks of many things - her evening photoshoot with Pierce.

Look 02 of the photoshoot

Later in the morning, Rene is on the beach, wearing a free-spirited bodycon. Its colors of pink, orange and yellow make this piece of attire enchanting. Tony meets a serendipitous moment. Rene unexpectedly decides to go off script. She takes off her shoes and grabs Shane's hand and runs with him on the beach. Tony loves the surprise and takes some fantastic photos of Rene & Shane enjoying the Malibu beach line.

It is lunch time. Rene and Tony's crew sit down to an exquisite lunch of grilled swordfish served with wild rice and salad. They enjoy the break and swap stories about fashion and fashion photography. Rene reminisces about Francesco Scavullo photoshoots.

Look 03 of the photoshoot

In the afternoon, Rene wears a dark red bodycon dress from the lovely world of Aleya Collections. Tony photographs her in the Inn's lobby and at the bar. Rene sits at one of the tables with a cup of coffee, Rene becomes pensive. She gazes out the Pacific thinking of many things - love and life's other great intangibles.

Later in the afternoon, Pierce arrives. Tony talks to Pierce and Rene about the evening photoshoot. It is to be a reenactment of their dance scene from The Thomas Crown Affair. It took a little time for both to remember the dance sequence. They have a great time of rehearsal while enjoy a snack of baked chips and guacamole served with iced tea.

For the evening photoshoot, Rene wears a gorgeous orange bodycon dress. The reception room is filled with guests from the Inn. They are excited to be part of Tony's photoshoot.
