It may be still summer on Brazil, but it looks like fall is coming. It rains everyday and low temperatures dominate the country. But don't worry, here are some great tips with Rene Russo to feel more warm <3 !

According to the magazine Harper's Bazaar, fall is always filled with endless outfit ideas and layering opportunities for fashion girls to have fun with. From boots to blazers, fresh outerwear trends, and beyond, there's plenty to get excited about.

The first two pics of Rene by famous photographer Francesco Scavullo show the power of fall. And specially the introduction picture on this post, it shows lots of attitude while Ms Russo has a powerful pose. Although the pics are from the 70s, it has a modern touch to the clothes she wore on that photos.

How I love tailored looks on fall. And Rene does too. In Miracle premiere in 2004, she blew away the paparazzi and the public in general by wearing a tailored look and a sexy printed shirt. It's one of my favorite looks of her. 
She would use the tailored look + shirt combo to go out on a night with her friends, or a sexy night with her husband or one of her romantic pairs on movies, like Kevin Costner, Jake Gyllenhaal or Pierce Brosnan.

Rene Russo for Vogue Magazine, April 1975

Rene Russo felt so comfortable in this Francesco Scavullo editorial photoshoot for Vogue Magazine, April 1975 edition (where Ms Russo was the cover star). It also shows that this woman is fascinated for sports, specially the leisure ones.  

This pic above was taken on a speedboat and Rene didn't show the insecurity she usually had in everyday life, showing lots of confidence, and also shows how classy this wonderful lady is!  

Who loves Rene like a tennis star? We all love it ! Even she is on the scenery background of this image, it express lots of concentration, like she's playing the sport! The wardrobe in this pic is so amazing, and she's great wearing a bucket hat (and I also love wearing this accessory in everyday life!) 

In this photo below, Rene also looks very cozy; she looks so great in blue! And the shirt she wore plus the head scarf combined perfectly with her. 

And last but not least, Rene in a motorcycle is soooo wonderful. She never rode on motorbike before; and it's also shown her trust. The combo of jeans, shirt and boots worked in a perfect way. Let's not forget about her smile at the other model, it's the best in the whole world! Work it girl !

Rene Russo Fashion Lookbook: Sexy Rene Russo in a Francesco Scavullo photoshoot and wearing a swimsuit!

Rene Russo, even though she's a valley girl, she loves the beach, just like me. And in this photoshoot by master photographer Francesco Scavullo, in Peru for May 1976 for Vogue magazine. And as always, she loves seducing everyone in every photoshoot she appears.

The swimsuits she wears (mostly bikinis) always valorize her perfect body figure. And even with her 65 years (but with 20 years younger), she'd look perfect on a bikini, because of her great body, thanks to the semi-intense gym workouts !

This pic above is one of my favorite Rene's model pics in her modeling career. The swimsuit this lovely woman is wearing is too perfect for her, in my opinion. I love her discrete sensuality, and also her thinkative expression, but in a romantic way!

The two last pics of Rene show her romantic and (also) sexy side, and it's shown in her facial expressions and poses. Her great interaction with the male model is evident in the photoshoot. When the subject is interacting with other models (even the model is male or female), Rene is a master in that interaction !

A baby princess called Rene Russo!

Rene Russo is a model (now actress) who never loses her pose, even in today's days. When Ms Russo was a powerful model, I always call her "baby princess". Her youth, her smile, the clothes she always wore on photoshoots, and her profissionalism characterizes this "baby princess" attribute. According to photographer Francesco Scavullo, "everything drapes beautifully on her."

Rene Russo always proves she's having lots of fun, even on photoshoots. Mr Scavullo says she's a complete perfectionist. When she did the Avedon photoshoot for Vogue Magazine in 1975 featuring male model Tony Spinelli (one of these pics is shown above), she demonstrated lots of expressions in her mind, like joy, happiness and even pain.

Rene Russo, as a "baby princess", also showed her two sides of fashion. In 1977, in some shoots for Patrick Demarchelier for Vogue, Ms Russo showed her day and night fashion. In her day fashion, she showed her sweet side, and in the night, she showed the sexy, but mild side. This woman shows lots of versatility, trust me ! 

Now as a grown woman, Rene Russo is shown as a "wonderful, powerful queen". She's still rocking in her 65 years (but she looks like 45). Recently this wonderful actress was elected by Brazilian website "Estrelando" as one of the sexiest ladies above 60.

The spring is coming, Rene Russo !

Even though autumn is coming on the US, spring is coming on Brazil this Monday, September 23. In this season, the trends will revigorate every woman's wardrobe with quirk and flair, and it has also 1980's fashion influence when it comes to prints and volume. 

But anyway, I'll talk more of spring colors, they're totally inspired in the nature. So I've thought specially of green, violet and peach clothing.

One of my favorite spring colors is green. Green represents the nature, the tree leaves... and when it comes to this Francesco Scavullo photoshoot in Peru for May 1976 issue of Vogue Magazine, Rene Russo looks absolutely FABULOUS! This jumpsuit this wonderful woman is wearing is lovely, and it's flattering. You can also see her wonderful legs. And the jewelry, the shoes, the hair (done by Harry King) and the makeup (by legend Way Bandy) completes the whole package.

Violet is also a great color for spring and even summer. It represents the hydrangeas that bloom in the garden. And it also represents in this Rene photoshoot of talented and legendary Helmut Newton. She looks so refreshing and sexy in this violet swimsuit. The flower in her hair is a good complement, due to the fact the photoshoot was set in Hawaii.

And lastly, the peach color. It gives a good neutrality, specially in the dress Rene's wearing in the photo above. I also love the flower besides her dress, it's a great detail. The makeup by Shane Paish and the hair by Enzo Angileri complete the great look.

The meaning of “jet-setter” is a person who loves traveling abroad frequently, and also it is used to describe someone in high society with a glamourous life.Other people always want to go, but never do. 

Ms Russo loves traveling, specially on photoshoots, and recently on fashion events or movie festivals/premieres. On these occasions, she loves being chic, sexy and beautiful, and with not too much makeup.

On this Francesco Scavullo photoshoot for Vogue magazine in Peru in 1976, Rene Russo looks perfect, even wearing a sporty clothing. What Rene was wearing in this pic is so comfortable, and it also shows that this wonderful actress has such lovely legs until today!

And Rene Russo looooves going to fresh places, such as the beach or the desert. This lovely actress is always careful with the quantity of sunlight present in the ambient, that's why she doesn’t like too much sun.

One of these examples include this picture of her taken by master photographer Richard Avedon. Rene looks very chic, she looks like a modern Cleopatra. Or in Hawaii with Cheryl Tiegs in a Helmut Newton photoshoot, having a great refreshment on the beach, proving that Rene loves more sunset than sunlight.

Rene Russo Fashion Special: Rene Russo and the 70’s fashion style !

If the 60's fashion style was about modernism and haute couture, the 70's was all about individuality. According to Vogue magazine, there are no rules in the fashion game now, due to the cheap synthetic clothing overproduction flooding the market. And in this era happened the birth of casual chic clothes, which consisted of jackets, sneakers, t-shirts, jeans and sweaters. 

As shown in this Scavullo's photoshoot of Rene Russo (portraying as a chic, elegant lady), this wonderful actress looks always very good. This photoshoot is one of her first steps for Rene's elegance in everyday life.

Tailored clothing, as shown above, began to exist on the fashion world on the occasion of the rose of divorce rate and the progressive addition to women to the work force, that changed habits of shopping styles and fashion. A feminine version of men's business suits included tailored jackets, midi-skirts and fitted blouses. They were great choices for "dress for success".

In this picture above, Rene Russo is wearing an Yves Saint Laurent dress, proving the maximum elegance she has. Saint Laurent, along with Halston, were the most popular designers in the fashion world in the 70's. Even after the designers' deaths, both brands remain popular nowadays.

Last but not least, a great 70s trend was the fur coat, but today, this outfit is considered a fashion crime, due to environmental issues, like I said before in the jacket trend post I wrote in June. Nevertheless, Rene Russo is rocking this coat in this photoshoot above, also done by Mr. Scavullo, along with leather boots and a long skirt. Very fancy and elegant!!

Rene Russo's Fashion Lookbook: À La Parisienne !!!

Who loves Coco Chanel? Or going to Paris, land of the Eiffel Tower? That's what this post is all about, Paris-inspired looks. And also, last week, there was Paris Fashion Week, with lots of stunning looks. 

Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel had a difficult beginning (just like Rene had). But this beginning and her sewing techniques helped Chanel to inspire the transformation of menswear to amazing womenswear.

Rene Russo loves being chic and she is like a jet-setter lady (since her modeling career!). The two first pics on this post, one for the ad of Chanel n.19 in the 70s and later, on Thomas Crown Affair. In both images, Ms. Russo wears a beautiful long dress and some pearls, and also a beautiful red short hair (made by talented hairstylist Enzo Angileri). Very Coco Chanel-inspired.

Even on Paris, girls love lingerie. It makes then very sexy, and it shows the discret hint of sensuality.  Push-up bras or padded pieces won't be found. Instead, Parisians focus on finding bras and underwear in flattering silhouettes that look good underneath their clothes or even as part of the outfit. A blazer or button-down shirt might be intentionally unbuttoned to show a small glimpse of a lace bra underneath.  

A body or a babydoll, just like Rene is wearing, is just perfect for her. It makes her feel very hot and impressive (specially for men!).

A swimsuit/bikini is perfect for summer days. The swimsuit Rene Russo is wearing in a Scavullo photoshoot in Peru shows her sensuality, even though it's basic. Parisian girls always avoid swimsuit styles.

And in her recent movie, Velvet Buzzsaw... for Rene Russo, a leopard print

And even on her recent movie, Velvet Buzzsaw (2019), the talented actress loves a beautiful leopard printed blouse. For Rene Russo, this print is just perfect for her, it makes her look very sexy and doesn't look that she's 65, but yes 20 or 25 years younger.

This post is going to be a cool one and it will be for all you, readers. I love beach, Rene loves beach, and everybody loves beach!! In my opinion, "the beach is fascinating" and also the beach is every people's paradise. 

In Brazil, it might not be summer (but in California it is, and Rene is from California), but most of people go to this wonderful paradise even on weekends, or even the entire month, because July is the holiday vacations' month. 
I chose Rene's pic in Bain de Soleil ad, for a good reason. This wonderful lady is relaxing on a beach chair and on a sunny day. I imagine her in St. Tropez (France) or in Malibu (California). Beside it's sexy and seductive!!! #sexyreneinaction.

This composition above is made of two beach pictures, and both are done by photography master Francesco Scavullo in the Peruvian beach of Santa Maria, in 1976. According to David (@d_ast777 on Twitter), from Moreno Valley, California, he loved both photos (as I loved too), because "each one of the pictures has its own attributes". In the first pic, Rene shows her sexiness, and it shows on her face and body expressions... and the pic on the right, she shows her sublime, majestic beauty, showing that the camera loves her!

The next composition above is also inspired in Saint-Tropez, but the only difference is that these pictures are made by another famous photographer, and his name is Richard Avedon. Like Scavullo, Mr. Avedon is also from New York City (the city that never sleeps), and worked many times with Ms. Rene Russo. 

Back to business. The pic from the left is the most sexy photograph that Rene did in her  entire modeling career. She feels sultry (when many men see this masterpiece, they feel sweaty, because of Rene's sexiness), and even full of desire. 

And in the second pic... Rene looks more sexy, seductive and romantic (because she's between two men on the beach). #love 

In the movies, Rene impressed the audience with The Thomas Crown Affair beach scenes on Martinique...
even Ms. Russo did some beach scenes on Lethal Weapon 4 (1998).

How about Rene's beach scenes in movies? Well... here it goes! She had some beach scenes in her first Lorna Cole scenes on Lethal Weapon 4 (1998), along with Mel Gibson. But we are all focused on Rene's scenes on Thomas Crown Affair (1999), on Martinique, in which most of her scenes were topless. And one of my favorite scenes is the towel scenes, when Rene lassos Pierce and both of them kiss together.

According to Ms. Rene, in 2014, "I was standing in a heavy bathrobe and a g-string underneath, waiting for Pierce, and the double doors open (...) with a beautiful silver tray, two glasses and a bottle of champagne, so... that's who Pierce is. He's so great." OMG, Rene, u make us breathless.... we all love YOU!!

As I talked in a few posts ago in this blog, Rene Russo initially worked as a model... she worked with numerous photographers, today I'm going to talk about Rene's photographic works with Francesco Scavullo.
For those who are curious about Francesco Scavullo, he was born in January 16, 1921 in New York City and died of heart failure in January 6, 2004, also in New York City. He was known for doing celebrity portraits and Cosmopolitan covers. Rene was one of these stars.

In my opinion, Rene Russo's work for Scavullo, until today, one of the most iconic fashion works in the fashion world (also some of these iconic fashion works I can include Brooke Shields in an Calvin Klein jeans ad, by Richard Avedon, another photographer whom Rene also worked with). 

One of my favorite photographs is this one above, from Vogue, issued July, 1974, showing lots of class and elegance. Just strike a pose, girl! #GoOnRene!

Another photo I love is this one above, also from Vogue Magazine and also from 1974. Rene Russo is also showing class and elegance... 

And the strong look she has shows that the camera loves her very much... and I totally agree with this statement.

Rene Russo was cover of many magazines, such as Cosmopolitan and Vogue.. About Rene's Cosmopolitan covers... she was a record holder. She was cover of this magazine from 1974 to 1981. And I have some editions I love: November 1978, August 1979 (photo above) and October 1980. 

Rene also was face of many covers of Vogue. One of these covers was in 1974.

... and about Rene's Vogue covers and photos, she achieved nine covers and lots of editorials - with lots of sensuality (Rene has this quality until today, in my opinion) and sophistication - even wearing a power suit or wearing a swimsuit, posing on a beach with model Tony Spinelli.
