Luckily I found rare pics of Rene on Instagram, thanks to Edward Hazelton (Instagram : shytownguy64). In a total of 18 pics, I chose 4 great ones for this post ! 

When I think of a wedding dress, I imagine how sweet it is, and how sweet Rene looks wearing it. Throughout the years, this dress changed especially in terms of design and concept. 

Most of the gowns are white, and due to the culture, the dress can be in different colors. For example, in India, the gown is yellow, blue, red etc. 

Not only in fashion modeling she wore a wedding dress. It also happened in two movie occasions, in Major League and in Yours, Mine and Ours. And she also looks so beautiful.

Rene Russo's Fashion Lookbook: Rene's Secret Fashion Tendency!

Hello people, welcome back!

What many people didn't know (until now) that Rene has a secret fashion tendency that I'll reveal only today. Her secret tendency is a piece of clothing underneath another, and it still looks sexy without being vulgar. She could use her tendencies somewhere in the future. 

One of my favorite looks is Ms. Russo wearing a pink shirt underneath her bra, in a picture taken by Tony Vriamontes (1956-88). She looks exquisite in pink, and the combo is simply divine - from the use of pink to the makeup. 

Rene is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous with a white shirt underneath a black crop top. When the subject is fashion forward, she always understands about it. It looks so sensuous without being vulgar and also great with a pair of jeans. 

And last but not least, my favorite look: the black dress with the white shirt underneath that Rene wore on Thomas Crown Affair. She looks so appealing and fascinating, I imagine Rene seducing Pierce Brosnan with that look. 

The red hair and the wonderful makeup by Enzo Angileri & Shane Paish work soooo well in that look. Work it girl!

Rene Russo Fashion SPECIAL: Some lingerie Rene would wear on any occasion !

In these times of quarantine, I've paused a little bit on my blog due to the fact of getting more ideas to write, that's why recently I've been talking everyday with my friend Gabe (insta: gkalfie / twitter: GDKalfie) on Twitter, so he could refresh my memory. He asked me this morning: "Speaking of fashion, what are you working on regarding your Rene Russo blog?". I didn't think twice and said: "I thought of lingerie. Some great lingerie Rene could wear."

I also thought of this topic because Rene looks sexy in any kind of lingerie, and many men and women specially could fall in love with her, and also Gabe and I were discussing about it recently....

I chose this first look, from Venus Swimmear, because I thought it was the sexiest 1-piece lingerie for Rene Russo to wear. She can use it with a leather jacket, a hot pair of jeans and some leather boots/high heels on the day for a trip out on Los Angeles or on New York City, and on the night she uses this lingerie with a white silk shirt to seduce her lover Pierce Brosnan on her royal bed. 

This lingerie from Victoria's Secret of 1979 is so fine for Rene, and Rene looooves fine lingerie. My favorite piece of this picture is the second piece (in the right), she would so good in it. She can use that look with fine jewelry and a great lipgloss, to go to a fine slumber party with her friends. 

And last but not least, pink is a great color for lingerie, and it expresses the sexiness in it. The look with lingerie + garter belt is my favorite for Ms Russo, it has lots of seduction in it. Rene can embody Catherine Banning (from Thomas Crown Affair) with the lingerie + garter belt combo, by using it with a shirt, a beautiful skirt and some high heels for her day on the office and in the night, take off her office clothing and use this combo with a fine jewelry (like a necklace, for example) to seduce Pierce Brosnan.

It may be still summer on Brazil, but it looks like fall is coming. It rains everyday and low temperatures dominate the country. But don't worry, here are some great tips with Rene Russo to feel more warm <3 !

According to the magazine Harper's Bazaar, fall is always filled with endless outfit ideas and layering opportunities for fashion girls to have fun with. From boots to blazers, fresh outerwear trends, and beyond, there's plenty to get excited about.

The first two pics of Rene by famous photographer Francesco Scavullo show the power of fall. And specially the introduction picture on this post, it shows lots of attitude while Ms Russo has a powerful pose. Although the pics are from the 70s, it has a modern touch to the clothes she wore on that photos.

How I love tailored looks on fall. And Rene does too. In Miracle premiere in 2004, she blew away the paparazzi and the public in general by wearing a tailored look and a sexy printed shirt. It's one of my favorite looks of her. 
She would use the tailored look + shirt combo to go out on a night with her friends, or a sexy night with her husband or one of her romantic pairs on movies, like Kevin Costner, Jake Gyllenhaal or Pierce Brosnan.

Rene Russo, a high-waisted pant lover! (Rene Russo’s Fashion Lookbook)

Recently I talked with my best friend Gabe (from Grosse Pointe, Michigan), and he told me Rene had something special about her, and that was her lovely body. 

A high-rise or high-waisted garment is one designed to sit high on, or above, the wearer's hips, usually at least 8 centimetres (3 inches) higher than the bellybutton. In western cultures, high-rise jeans were especially common in the 1970s, in competition with low-rise pants.

When she wears these pants, she looks so sexy... along with these lovely pants, she also uses a mid-open shirt, some high-heels and in optional case, a blazer. It's chic and sensual, and also it accentuates her wonderful body <3 ! 

When Ms Russo wears these pants, many people would fall in love with her. With this ensemble, she becomes a seductress and a sexy and wonderful socialite. In the moment she walks down the street, half the population (specially men) would be blown away!

Rene Russo, perfect for summer! (RENE RUSSO FASHION SPECIAL)

2019 was a good year, but 2020 will be a better year on this blog, with lots of Rene Russo fashion tendencies, and more movies... !!! I'll just start with the right foot talking about summer clothing. So who's excited with the first post of 2020? I am excited!

Summer clothing is all about solar looks, simplicity and printed fabrics. For 2020 tendencies, the summer heat is accompanied by warm colors, further enhancing the characteristic of the season. Red and yellow appear in both super-light and burnt colors, and are the star of the season's look-wishes. The shades will color from blouses and croppeds to shorts, skirts and shorts, in plain and printed fabrics.

For the Proof of Life premiere in December 2000, Rene decided to wear something simple. But also sexy and elegant. Even without the coat, this lovely actress also looks fabulous. The look was 100% well made and tailored, and the hair (in a lovely bun) by Enzo Angileri and the makeup by Shane Paish did the perfect combo <3 !

Also a great "white look" was used by Rene in a Avedon photoshoot, shown below. This picture clearly tells the word "summer". The 'hotpant', with the blazer and a hat, it makes her a true queen.

Last but not least, let's talk about the prints. They're essential for summer. And one of Rene's favourite prints is the leopard print. She used this leopard print in many movies, like in Lethal Weapon 4, Nightcrawler and recently on Velvet Buzzsaw. This wonderful print looks amazing on her !

The spring is coming, Rene Russo !

Even though autumn is coming on the US, spring is coming on Brazil this Monday, September 23. In this season, the trends will revigorate every woman's wardrobe with quirk and flair, and it has also 1980's fashion influence when it comes to prints and volume. 

But anyway, I'll talk more of spring colors, they're totally inspired in the nature. So I've thought specially of green, violet and peach clothing.

One of my favorite spring colors is green. Green represents the nature, the tree leaves... and when it comes to this Francesco Scavullo photoshoot in Peru for May 1976 issue of Vogue Magazine, Rene Russo looks absolutely FABULOUS! This jumpsuit this wonderful woman is wearing is lovely, and it's flattering. You can also see her wonderful legs. And the jewelry, the shoes, the hair (done by Harry King) and the makeup (by legend Way Bandy) completes the whole package.

Violet is also a great color for spring and even summer. It represents the hydrangeas that bloom in the garden. And it also represents in this Rene photoshoot of talented and legendary Helmut Newton. She looks so refreshing and sexy in this violet swimsuit. The flower in her hair is a good complement, due to the fact the photoshoot was set in Hawaii.

And lastly, the peach color. It gives a good neutrality, specially in the dress Rene's wearing in the photo above. I also love the flower besides her dress, it's a great detail. The makeup by Shane Paish and the hair by Enzo Angileri complete the great look.

Rene Russo Fanpage Fashion Lookbook: Why do High heels turn Rene Russo a powerful woman

According to Summer Brennan in an article in The Guardian on March 20, 2019: "There was an image in my mind of a certain kind of woman – professional, feminine, poised – that I wanted to embody. I saw these women daily, year after year, backstage to the halls of power, on benches by the ladies’ room, changing in and out of comfortable and uncomfortable shoes."

What Ms Brennan is trying to say is the high heels have pros and cons. The pros are elegance, feminity, power; and the cons are back and joint pain and vein swelling.

Ms Russo, in any movie or any fashion campaign in she appears over the years, is portraying a elegant and highly attractive woman. And also a goddess, a powerful woman, seductress and elegant duchess.  

Some examples of this portrayal of woman include The Intern and specially Thomas Crown Affair, or even in all Nightcrawler premieres in New York City and Toronto. 

High heels combine perfectly with beautiful dresses. When Rene wore this combo high heels + dress, women and specially men fell in LOVE with her, not only because her finesse, but also because of her very beautiful legs!

This wonderful actress also takes care with her stilettos, because of the pain and also the risk of having scoliosis again (Rene had once before becoming a model). That's why Ms Russo doesn't use a very high height in her high heel. It makes her more comfortable.

Even though in US it isn't winter, in Brazil this season is coming just on June 21. On winter, lots of coats and jackets are a big trend. No matter colored or printed, Rene Russo always rocks this piece of clothing, because it makes this wonderful actress a sex kitten, even on fashion shows or in movies.

Rene Russo's main trends in fashion: jacket, leather, prints, black, white, a sexy blouse and something in which favors her legs. One example is in the movie Big Trouble (2002). Her character, Anna, is a mix of Lorna Cole of Lethal Weapon 3 & 4 (1992/1998) and Catherine Banning in Thomas Crown Affair (1999). In this picture above, she's wearing a wonderful zebra-printed coat.

In the 70s, fur coats were so popular in fashion world. But nowadays... these fur coats considered a fashion crime, due to sustentability aspects and because it's against the enviroment (the animals in extinction). 
But anyway, Rene Russo did great on this Scavullo photoshoot for Vogue, never losing her elegance!

Even with 60 years old, Rene Russo looks extremely elegant, with a white dress, black coat and black boots. One of my favorite looks ever, because Ms. Russo is so conscious not to look ugly, but yes sexy and very beautiful, like in this pic above. Also I love the color balance between black and white, which she adores!!!

Rene Russo's Fashion Lookbook: Black and White Clothes, Perfect for Any Occasion! (Part 2)

If master muse Rene Russo can be fashionable with black and white clothes, so does Rose Gilroy, "the princess of the family". Ms. Gilroy inherited the fashion love and her natural beauty specially from Ms. Russo.

Rocker fashion is adored by many people, and specially Rose and myself. In a photoshoot by Ungano and Agriodimas, Rose wears the typical of rocker fashion: a black and white t-shirt with no sleeves and a great pair of ripped jeans. It's sexy and clean at the same time. A great look for going out for a night in Los Angeles.

A very Rose Gilroy chic moment is when she did the Le Lis Blanc fashion campaign and photographed by the amazing Bob Wolfenson (Bob also took photos of Brazilian celebrities, specially for fashion and men magazines). 

And like Rene, Rose also adores some amazing accessories. Accompanied by a dress and some boots, she wears a hat and a "poncho", to cover herself from the heat from the desert.

Rose, with collaboration of friend Cazzie David (who soon will launch a book), were fascinating in La Ligne fashion campaign, also with pictures taken by Ungano and Agriodimas. 

Coming from New York City, La Ligne is all about striped clothes, specially black and white. Combining striped blouses with jeans/leather pants and some high heels, it makes both girls casual and elegant.

Rene Russo's Fashion Lookbook: Black and White Clothes, Perfect for Any Occasion! (Part 1)

Do you know about Ange ou Demon, a famous parfum by Givenchy? That's one of my favourite parfums I adore to use. Associating to fashion, "Ange" means a lighter color, so I chose the color white, and "Demon" means a darker color, so I chose the color black. Combining both colors, it's just the perfect combination and it shows lots of balance.

The best way to make the white top and black bottom look work is to choose interesting silhouettes and textures. In Rene Russo's case, her outfits have an amazing statement. It has a mix of diferent fabrics, a white cotton shirt with a leather pant. It makes her look very chic.

Rene stole the scene with fabulous clothes in The Thomas Crown Affair (1999). One of the, was a strapless dress with a white shirt underneath and a black blazer. It makes her look very sexy! And when she takes off her blazer, it makes her look way more sexier.

Rene Russo loves an accessory when she appears on movie premieres or on movie awards, she doesn't forget it, like in Just Getting Started, in 2017. Because of too many black clothes, that makes her look a bit sad, she decided to put a black scarf with white polka dots.

Or in Writer's Guild Awards, she wore a black leather dress with a bit of cotton fabric (showing a little bit of her bra underneath), wearing golden hoops and with a clutch, which is not shown in this pic below !

Work it out, girl !

Rene Russo's Fashion Lookbook: À La Parisienne !!!

Who loves Coco Chanel? Or going to Paris, land of the Eiffel Tower? That's what this post is all about, Paris-inspired looks. And also, last week, there was Paris Fashion Week, with lots of stunning looks. 

Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel had a difficult beginning (just like Rene had). But this beginning and her sewing techniques helped Chanel to inspire the transformation of menswear to amazing womenswear.

Rene Russo loves being chic and she is like a jet-setter lady (since her modeling career!). The two first pics on this post, one for the ad of Chanel n.19 in the 70s and later, on Thomas Crown Affair. In both images, Ms. Russo wears a beautiful long dress and some pearls, and also a beautiful red short hair (made by talented hairstylist Enzo Angileri). Very Coco Chanel-inspired.

Even on Paris, girls love lingerie. It makes then very sexy, and it shows the discret hint of sensuality.  Push-up bras or padded pieces won't be found. Instead, Parisians focus on finding bras and underwear in flattering silhouettes that look good underneath their clothes or even as part of the outfit. A blazer or button-down shirt might be intentionally unbuttoned to show a small glimpse of a lace bra underneath.  

A body or a babydoll, just like Rene is wearing, is just perfect for her. It makes her feel very hot and impressive (specially for men!).

A swimsuit/bikini is perfect for summer days. The swimsuit Rene Russo is wearing in a Scavullo photoshoot in Peru shows her sensuality, even though it's basic. Parisian girls always avoid swimsuit styles.

And in her recent movie, Velvet Buzzsaw... for Rene Russo, a leopard print

And even on her recent movie, Velvet Buzzsaw (2019), the talented actress loves a beautiful leopard printed blouse. For Rene Russo, this print is just perfect for her, it makes her look very sexy and doesn't look that she's 65, but yes 20 or 25 years younger.
