The art behind the book “Rene Russo: a biography (according to fans)"

Recently I was having a great chat with two of my social network best friends, Alex Zancai (from Italy) and Gabriel Kikas (from Grosse Pointe, Michigan), about the illustrations of my book in process of creation and "Rene Russo: a biography (according to fans)", from my autorship. I told once to them, "Besides the normal pics of Rene, the book will have some illustrations made by myself, I want it to be more different."

The illustrations were mostly inspired by Andy Warhol and The Male Nude Project calendar, with pics taken by my best friend Sergio Santoian (and drawings by actor and artist Pedro Henrique Moutinho).

Art is something special in my life. Since I was born, I have to essential gifts that I carry always: imagination and creativity. And art is also included in my musical background, I fell in love with artwork when I was 18, since I bought a cd artwork book on Urban Outfitters in one of my trips to New York City.

Alex told me on last Friday, "you put passion in what you do and write. That is something readers notice immediately and will appreciate it".

All the Rene artworks I did are mostly related with the text, whether it's in technicolor or in black and white. That's what most world photographers do in edition time. And the illustrations are more exciting with effects and movement !

Hope u like it
