The Purr-fect Rene Russo photoshoot: Lingerie, part 1. (Episode 03) (Collaboration: Gabriel Kikas)

Good morning, people !

It's fun applying all my fashion knowledge for these series of posts. As you can see, Rene is so gorgeous in any kind of outfits. Today's and the next one will be focused on lingerie (but I prefer Ms. Russo in two-piece lingerie, it shows more her sensuality).

The place was set on Rene's beach house in Malibu Beach. It will probably be in Rene's bedroom. Her boudoir sounds more sensual.

Look 01 of the photoshoot.

Tony (Duran) and Rene go over the photoshoot. The flirting - throw in some laughter and a smile. Ms Russo tries to kiss Shane (Paish) and I'd hug her in a very intensive and sexy way, like a menàge a trois. 

Look 02 of the photoshoot

In this post, Tony and Rene are telling a story. In this pic, perhaps Rene is longing for her lover, for her beloved, Pierce Brosnan. 

The photoshoot moves to the lover's arrival... Rene listens attentively as her beloved orders a Champagne dinner on the telephone. She is bewildered due to the fact she is ready for a romantic evening, but her beloved gets a phone call in the office... something happened there that needs his immediate attention.

Before the end of the photoshoot, Rene and Tony work through the photoshoot sequence, and they are in synce. Ms Russo brings out her talents as an actress to play out the scene of unfulfilled expectations. She patiently waited all day for tonight's date with Pierce. He is late, and he has to leave. 

Some minutes later, Pierce arrives and gives a kiss and a hug. Rene lies down on the couch, and while she orders her Champagne dinner for two, he takes off his shirt. Pierce tries to apology to Rene, but to no avail, he tries to kiss her, only to be snubbed. Instead of tears, both laughed. You know, there are times Tony will have to deal with outtakes. 

Anyhow, the photoshoot ended up well, and both Rene & Pierce knew how to seduce each other!

The Purr-fect Rene Russo photoshoot ! (Episode 02) (Collaboration: Gabriel Kikas)

My best friend Gabe is helping me so much on these series of blog posts about Rene Russo's perfect photoshoot. I said to you all last episode that Rene can wear any kind of look. 

He was looking over Tony Duran's work... he brings out Rene's beauty and sensuality. Rene's rapport with Tony brings out her best facial expressions - a sweet smile and a giggle or two. 

Look 01 of the photoshoot. 

Rene, Kéla, Tony, Shane and I went to Malibu Beach for the next photoshoot series. Malibu Beach is a beautiful beach, specially for picture-taking. But before the shoot, Tony explains it to Rene. She asks questions and makes suggestions as to the optimal photo. Some music is played in the background to lighten the mood...

Rene started wearing a beautiful floral outfit, and when the photographer started taking the pics, she lied on sand, doing some sexy expressions. 

Look 02 of the photoshoot.

In the next set of photos, Rene was wearing a short beach dress and a long wool jacket, on the sea. In the middle of the photoshoot, this gorgeous woman took off her jacket, wetted her hair and showed how sexy she is. 

Way before the last set of photos, the whole team got out the beach and took a break from the photoshoot. They got carry out. There was a Lebanese restaurant down the road. They ordered Lebanese salad with grilled chicken or salmon. To drink: Diet Coke. 

Look 03-A of the photoshoot.

After the team had lunch, they went to Long Beach to realize the last set of pictures. Ms. Russo was wearing a black swimsuit and a pink shirt. To complete the look, high heels. 

Rene bought an ice cream and then, Tony started again taking pictures of her. While ending eating her ice cream, Rene took off her heels and went to the beach, and she amazed Mr Duran with her sexy poses, until she took off her shirt and stayed only in swimsuit. 

Look 03-B of the photoshoot.

In one of the pics, Ms. Russo sat under an umbrella sipping on the French brewed coffee. As she sits, Shane (Paish) comes to help her with makeup. They casually flirt with one another, give out the occasional laugh and swap stories about this and that.

Rene Russo's Work With Harry King!

Good morning, people! 

Today I'll talk about Rene Russo's work with Harry King. Coming from New York City, Harry King had hairstyled and photographed many models, from Gia to Janice Dickinson, Patti Hansen, Rosie Vela, Rene and many others. 

What inspired me in this post: Harry said on his Instagram Rene has the most beautiful hair ever, and she has the best sense of humor. Mr King, along with Enzo Angileri, were amazing hairstylists in Rene's modeling and acting career. 

What I'm showing today is Rene's pictures taken by Harry on his apartment. Her look is so powerful and strong. Her friend Rosie (Vela) told me Rene's hair is so similar as hers. Ms. Russo's look is very hipster but also sexy and fascinating. 

This pic of Rene shows a mix of sadness and happiness. The sadness is more related to the sad childhood she had, and the happiness is related to her long effort and the long road she came into her modeling career. 

Harry King, during his career, did the book Disco Beauty in the end of the 70's. Sandy Linter did the makeup, and the models' hair and photos were done by the only Harry King. And Rene did the sexy rock 'n' roll woman, and she always proves she was born to be sexy !

 

Last but not least, Rene posed nude to Harry's lens. Mr. King told me on one of our conversations, "I cropped it, so we don't see much." And I had to agree, I said that unfortunately on Instagram, it's prohibited nudes or topless. He also told me Rene loved the pics.

The purr-fect Rene Russo photoshoot ! (Episode 01) (Collaboration: Gabe Kikas)

Rene Russo, over the years, has participated over than 50 photoshoots during her entire modeling and acting career. My friend Gabe and I were talking about how Rene's perfect photoshoot would be. Tony Duran would take the pictures, Kela Wong and Shane Paish would do Rene's makeup and I would do her styling. That would be the perfect team. 

Look 01 of the photoshoot...

Rene would look exquisite in any crop top, with a sexy pair of jeans, some high heels/ankle boots and a sexy lingerie underneath. In other pics she can be with no bra or topless. All the styling expresses Ms Russo's sex appeal.

Look 02 of the photoshoot. 

Rene would even be great on a Moschino pants and a beautiful crop top. Shane (Paish) would appear in the picture as an extra, seducing Ms Russo while he does the make up. In one of the pics she takes off her top, showing her bra. 

Rene knows how to work with other models, even male or female!

Look 03 of the photoshoot. 

Another great look for Rene is that vest, with the sexy lingerie and her jeans, and in her royal bed. In a moment, she takes off her vest in a slow and sexy way, and with a variety of poses and expressions! Work it Rene!

Rene Russo would work in many sexy and chic looks, but I choose these three outfits because Gabe and I are going to write up a series of blog posts on the photoshoot!

Rene Russo's Fashion Lookbook: Rene's Secret Fashion Tendency!

Rene has a secret fashion tendency revealed only today.

Hello people, welcome back!

What many people didn't know (until now) that Rene has a secret fashion tendency that I'll reveal only today. Her secret tendency is a piece of clothing underneath another, and it still looks sexy without being vulgar. She could use her tendencies somewhere in the future. 

One of my favorite looks is Ms. Russo wearing a pink shirt underneath her bra, in a picture taken by Tony Vriamontes (1956-88). She looks exquisite in pink, and the combo is simply divine - from the use of pink to the makeup. 

Rene is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous with a white shirt underneath a black crop top. When the subject is fashion forward, she always understands about it. It looks so sensuous without being vulgar and also great with a pair of jeans. 

And last but not least, my favorite look: the black dress with the white shirt underneath that Rene wore on Thomas Crown Affair. She looks so appealing and fascinating, I imagine Rene seducing Pierce Brosnan with that look. 

The red hair and the wonderful makeup by Enzo Angileri & Shane Paish work soooo well in that look. Work it girl!

Rene Russo Fashion SPECIAL: Some lingerie Rene would wear on any occasion !

In these times of quarantine, I've paused a little bit on my blog due to the fact of getting more ideas to write, that's why recently I've been talking everyday with my friend Gabe (insta: gkalfie / twitter: GDKalfie) on Twitter, so he could refresh my memory. He asked me this morning: "Speaking of fashion, what are you working on regarding your Rene Russo blog?". I didn't think twice and said: "I thought of lingerie. Some great lingerie Rene could wear."

I also thought of this topic because Rene looks sexy in any kind of lingerie, and many men and women specially could fall in love with her, and also Gabe and I were discussing about it recently....

I chose this first look, from Venus Swimmear, because I thought it was the sexiest 1-piece lingerie for Rene Russo to wear. She can use it with a leather jacket, a hot pair of jeans and some leather boots/high heels on the day for a trip out on Los Angeles or on New York City, and on the night she uses this lingerie with a white silk shirt to seduce her lover Pierce Brosnan on her royal bed. 

This lingerie from Victoria's Secret of 1979 is so fine for Rene, and Rene looooves fine lingerie. My favorite piece of this picture is the second piece (in the right), she would so good in it. She can use that look with fine jewelry and a great lipgloss, to go to a fine slumber party with her friends. 

And last but not least, pink is a great color for lingerie, and it expresses the sexiness in it. The look with lingerie + garter belt is my favorite for Ms Russo, it has lots of seduction in it. Rene can embody Catherine Banning (from Thomas Crown Affair) with the lingerie + garter belt combo, by using it with a shirt, a beautiful skirt and some high heels for her day on the office and in the night, take off her office clothing and use this combo with a fine jewelry (like a necklace, for example) to seduce Pierce Brosnan.

Rene Russo Special: 10 top songs to hang out on a night with Rene Russo!

This week, while stuck at home because of the COVID-19 outbreak, Gabe and I were thinking about the next blog's ideas. One of them is "songs to hang out on a night with Rene Russo". For me it was great, it combined well with me. All my 10 choices are from the alternative rock from US/UK/Canada, are romantic and are available to listen on Spotify and on Youtube <3 ! Come join with me on this musical journey. 

10- Pulp - "This is Hardcore" (1998) 

Pulp started out in Sheffield, in 1978, and it's one of the greatest bands in the history of britpop music (along with Oasis and Blur). And after the success of His 'n' Hers (1994) and Different Class (1995), they released This Is Hardcore, on March 30, 1998. 

The title song, This is Hardcore, is about intense romance. It's a rhythmic uphill that reaches its climax in the extremely graphic line "this is me on top of you". An then, the floor's the limit.

9- Catherine Wheel - "The Nude" (1993)

Rob Dickinson, lead vocalist of UK band Catherine Wheel, took the opposite direction of his cousin Bruce Dickinson (known for singing for Iron Maiden). Rob took the romantic side, with hits like "I wanna touch you" and "Black Metallic", from debut album, "Ferment" (1992). Now in "Chrome", released on July 20, 1993, the band released the great "The Nude". It's a song in which the dreams predominate the passionate person. 

8- Dave Gahan - "Saw Something" (2007)

Dave Gahan is known by being the lead vocalist of Depeche Mode, and in Depeche's and in his solo songs, Mr. Gahan puts sensuality and a certain intrigue in them. It's the case of "Saw Something", featured on his second solo album, Hourglass, released on October 23, 2007.  This song is about rediscovering that there is something inexplicable about a personwhom you previously got away from, and then realizing that what that person does for you is something you want to return to, keep, and cherish.

7-Grant Lee Buffalo - "Mockingbirds" (1994)

If Stockton band's Grant Lee Buffalo debut "Fuzzy" is good, then their next album, "Mighty Joe Moon", is even better. Released on September 20, 1994, "Mighty Joe Moon" featured great hits, like "Lone Star Song", "Rock of Ages", "Honey Don't Think" and... "Mockingbirds".

"Mockingbirds" is all about the tranquility and serenity of two people, who just want to get along. 

6- Blue Rodeo - "Lost Together" (1992)

Toronto country band Blue Rodeo is one of the most active bands in the history of music. Active since 1984, one of the band's most notable hits is "Lost Together", released in August 1992. It's one of my favorite country songs, and it's like another journey to serenity.  

5-Band of Susans-"Now is Now" (1991)

For those who don't know, Band of Susans is a alternative band from New York City, led by Robert Poss and Susan Steiger. In every song, they "trade places" in lead vocals.

Their third album, The Word and The Flesh, released in September 1991, is their best album, in my opinion. One of the tracks, Now is Now, is like a night trip on New York or Los Angeles, for example. 

Detail: the song was remixed and it was featured on their EP, Now, released on 1992. 

4-Snow Patrol - "Chasing Cars" (2006)

UK band Snow Patrol marked my childhood, thanks to the album Eyes Open, released on May 9, 2006. The album featured the amazing Chasing Cars. It's another song about a broken relationship, and the couple wants to come back together, which is expressed in the song's rhythm. 

3-X - "See How We Are" (1987)

See How We Are, of 1987, is their best work from LA band X. One of the tracks, See How We Are, is about a profound relationship, when the couple travels through a love journey, and at the end, they come back to sleep. 

2-Jars of Clay- "Love Song for a Savior" (1995) 

Love Song for a Savior, by Chicago band Jars of Clay, is more than a romantic rock song. When the drums enters in the song chorus, it's another road trip when the couple falls in love somewhere. And they end up kissing on a remote place, like the beach. 

1-Stranglers - "Midnight Summer Dream" (1983)

I chose Midnight Summer Dream by Stranglers on the first place, because it tells a real story, inspired on Shakespare's novel of the same name. Isn't that interesting? Also the keyboards and the talking in the song transmit the romantic character of it.
